If you’ve looked around this site or at my first slow cooker cookbook, Crock On!, you know I’m pretty serious about my slow cooker. So serious that I’m pleased to announce the second in what may be many slow cooker books, Keep Crockin’. This book is for you if you:

  1. You love to cook but believe you don’t have the time to do it the “old fashioned” way.
  2. Your menus are starting to look pretty drab and your family is begging for something new.
  3. You hate to cook (*gasp*) but know you need to get a handle on this whole kitchen thing.
  4. You love me.
  5. You loved Crock On! and bought copies for everyone you know.

No matter the reason you’re here, I’m glad you stopped by to check it out. If you want 55 brand new, never-published recipes, straight from my crock pot to yours, you’re in the right place. Download my latest eBook – Keep Crockin’. In it, you will find:

  • 55 all-original slow cooker recipes, from soups to desserts, and everything in between
  • high quality photos of every recipe
  • step-by-step instructions
  • reviews by people who actually cooked and tested the dish

Why do you call it “poorganic?” What does that mean?
Most of the recipes would satisfy even a hardcore foodie. Nonetheless, in some recipes you will find an ingredient or two that may not quite meet the traditional definition of “whole foods” (i.e. soy sauce, hominy, etc.).

Do you use a bunch of strange or hard-to-find ingredients?
Not at all. Just about all the ingredients can be found in your local grocery store and many things you’ll already have in your pantry.

Our Family is Gluten Free. Will these recipes work for us? 45 of the recipes in Keep Crockin’ are safe for those of you avoiding gluten. The other recipes could probably be modified to work, but I have not tested them specifically using GF ingredients.

I’m doing Trim Healthy Mama. Are the recipes THM Compliant? This is not a Trim Healthy Mama cookbook. However, all of these recipes are Trim Healthy Mama compliant when using plan-approved foods.
