37 weeks pregnant.

When I was pregnant with Andrew, I was approached by Jenni Wilson of Mom Essentials. She wanted to know if I was interested in reviewing any of her products – of course I was…especially when I saw she offered a class on Labor and Delivery.

We wanted this pregnancy to be a bit more natural than Annie’s was – and I stuck with everything…except the pregnancy tea. I just could NOT choke the stuff down…I hate tea. So, I started taking Red Raspberry Leaf capsules from Vitacost instead. Bases covered.  😀

Jenni sent me the MP3 download of Best Herbs and Essential Oils for Labor and Delivery and  Barry fixed it so that I could listen to it in the car – that’s a plus for audio books – sometimes it’s a bit hard for a busy mama to sit down and read…but you can listen easily in the car.

Mom Essentials is a website dedicated to teaching women about natural health. She has all sorts of books dedicated to education about natural healing methods…something we’re trying to embrace around the Myers house.

eBooks and audio classes you’ll find:

Mom Essentials Doctoring

Mom Essentials Healthy Yummy Recipes

How to Treat Babies with Herbs and Essential Oils

How to use Essential Oils During Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Best Herbs and Oils for Labor and Delivery

When you purchase the books as bundles, you save…something I’m all about. 😉

So, how was the audio book I reviewed? Well – I’ll be honest. The audio itself left something to be desired – I had to keep adjusting my volume. BUT, the information is very good. I learned a lot – stuff I wish I had known earlier.

If you’re interested in natural healing, essential oils, or herbs then you’d find this VERY informational.

I loved that the transcript also came with the audio file – so if I wanted to remember something, I didn’t have to look around in the car for paper to jot notes, I could just come back to my computer and read the part over again.

Here’s another honest point from me – I struggle with the price. $25 for an audio book is a lot…would I normally pay that? Nope – unless it was information that I REALLY wanted to know. If you really want to know about herbs and you really want a natural pregnancy, I think you’d enjoy these books and audio files.  There is definitely a great deal of information there and you can tell she knows her stuff!

Jenni is graciously going to give one of my readers a FREE eBook or audio file of their choice. AND for those of you who think you’d like to read her books and glean her information, she’s also given me a $5 discount code for SMC readers – use STACYSEPT at checkout. Code expires on September 20th.
